As part
of its business mission to China, the MMAC and
Milwaukee's Mayor brought this VideoStory-designed and
-produced DVD to show off Milwaukee and foster a
Milwaukee-China partnership.

Center for Independence
This agency provides training in living and working
skills for the handicapped. We helped develop a more
public profile for them by creating a video opener for
their annual meeting that told the success stories of a
number of clients.

Walgreens Hi-Def Meeting
10,000 people, 3-to-1 wide screen high
definition video projection, and a "suite" of video
modules to motivate, inspire and entertain.

Sales Motivation
Young employees in the retail environment have high
production-value expectations, enjoy music and humor, and
are perhaps just a bit cynical. But they aren't the only
new employees there--empty nesters, people of all ages
looking for a second (or full-time) income, all help make
up the mix.
So, to help reinforce the important points of a script
about upselling, we simply sang it, in a mix of popular
styles.
The result was fun, an employee favorite, and a major
award winner as well.
100 Years
in 100 Seconds
We've produced corporate anniversary shows for
Underwriters Labs, Banta, Mercury Marine, and
many others.
This project was a bit different. It actually served as a
teaser for other projects. In 100 seconds, we chronicled
100 years of Walgreens involvement with America, less a
corporate history than a country history with Walgreens
signposts.
Roadmap
to Opportunity
We wrote, animated, and produced this meeting opener
within just a few weeks, so that Johnson Controls could
motivate their sales people with the theme, "Roadmap to
Opportunity." Using vintage racing scenes combined with
current JCI-sponsored race cars and 3-D animation, this
opener set the tone, the attitude, and meaning of the
meeting.
The Rep
at 50
We were very proud to be selected to produce the
Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 50th Anniversary DVD. Over
the course of a year, we interviewed a wide range of
theater and public personalities, as well as members of
the audiences and schoolrooms that benefit from the Rep's
efforts and outreach, in addition to digging through
archives and videotaping current shows.
The result was a DVD with four layers, including extended
bonus interviews, a photo gallery, and hidden Easter
Eggs.
It was the highlight of many a career here at VideoStory.

Walgreens Health Initiatives needed a tool to help
position them in the competitive mail service arena.
Using on-site videography, we created a menu-driven video
with animated speaker support that could be presented by
confident salespeople, or be used unassisted with
recorded narration by newbies.

How do you roll out a new product in a way that
salespeople will have tools, background and materials to
sell new prospects without killing lots of trees? A sales
CD-ROM. This CD featured not just a video overview, but
also PowerPoints, PDFs, simulated sales calls, and more.
Guardian
Business Systems
An emerging Milwaukee company with a technology that
could go national, Guardian needed a sales teaser to help
in their direct marketing efforts. We created a
multi-level CD-ROM, providing viewers a product overview,
interviews with users, product demo, and more, all
selectable interactively by the viewer.

"Critical Environments"
The young girl in the picture is swallowing a
prescription medicine (and smiling at the same time). She
is happy because she and her mom can trust the drugs they
take, thanks to Johnson Controls' ability to monitor all
aspects of the critical environments in which new drugs
are developed and produced.

Pharmacy
Why wait for your prescription at the pharmacy when you
can order prescriptions, view your records, and learn so
much at an online Internet pharmacy, Walgreens asks
customers in their waiting rooms. These unique
green-screen scenes and special effects were produced in
our studios.
Theme: "I
Am the Face of Walgreens"
For the Walgreens Managers Meeting, the theme was
extrapolated into two custom large-screen videos: a warm
opener examining the lives of store managers, and a rock
video showing enthusiastic support for the managers, with
a live stage element.
